WOGI, the West Oakland Green Initiative, is committed to learning more about pollinator gardens and pathways throughout 2013. Our goal is to roll out a plan to introduce pollinator friendly gardens throughout our community in 2014.

We are testing different sites in our community in order to determine which plants are best suited for our microclimate. In addition, WOGI is also studying which plants will be best host and food plants for our local pollinators. Lastly, our study will teach us how to create housing and incubation for future generations of pollinators.
